The Lord has impressed upon me that He will be allowing for situations in our lives to produce great fruit of the Spirit in the coming weeks and months. We are entering a season of sanctification.
What I mean by this is we are headed for more shaking in the earth that will require greater faith, surrender, trust, and reliance on the Lord.
Dream: Two Brides
In a dream from the Lord recently, I was watching, and I saw a bride named "Gina" dressed in a white silky and lustrous pantsuit. She was in a waiting room, all white with white, soft furniture. But she was standing up, eager to meet her groom.
And she waited, I heard her Gina's friend as she showed up.
Her friend, also dressed like a bride, was also wearing a white pantsuit, but she was running, and she was yelling for someone to let her in. The waiting room door was clear and all glass. But it was closed and locked. The second bride was all dressed up, but couldn't enter in.
As Gina waited inside the glass door, her best friend frantically sought to get inside.
As I watched, I heard her say, "Don’t you know what day it is?"
And I knew by the Spirit it was the anniversary of her purification, or sanctification as a bride, and there was a ceremony to mark the sanctification of all the brides. They were renewing their vows, and the bride groom would be there as well. It was a big day.
I heard from the Spirit, it was a day like no other day...
The best friend didn’t want to miss it. But she couldn't get inside.
Sanctification: God Is Cleansing His Church
As I sought the Lord for more clarification on this dream, He led me to this passage of scripture.
"Blow the trumpet in Zion,
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
Gather the people,
Sanctify the congregation,
Assemble the elders,
Gather the children and nursing babes;
Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber,
And the bride from her dressing room."
Joel 2:15-16
I hear the Lord saying, we are arriving at a new season of sanctification. The Lord is going to season His people with fire and make us salty. When we study the Lord's heart in scripture, we find an unpopular premise. There are some who think they are saved, but they are not.
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Matthew 25:1-2
The Lord Jesus warned His followers prior to His crucifixion, there would be many looking for Him to return and expecting to meet Him. However, they are not preparing themselves for His return.
“Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."
Matthew 25:3-4
I hear the Lord saying, “I want my bride to be ready.”
Gina means, “queen.” The Lord is returning for His queen, but she must be prepared much like Esther was prepared before she was presented for marriage.
There is a coming season for all of us that will require our more full devotion to the Lord. As the Lord delays His coming, we should be getting prepared. And preparation equals purity.
The Lord desires our heart, not just our testimony that we love Him. The Word of God says, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts” (1 Peter 3:15). The Lord desires that we purify ourselves. The Lord is saying, “I’m coming back for a Bride without spot or wrinkle.”
“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’"
Matthew 25:5-6
The Lord is zealous for His Bride. And He wants us to desire no one and nothing above Him.
“Be ready,” the Lord says. “For I am coming as a thief in the night. Do not say that I will prepare when He arrives. For there will be no warning. Only the Father knows the day and the hour.”
The Lord is impressing upon my heart His jealousy. He desires a Bride that is desperately in love with Him. He wants a broken Bride. A humble Bride. A Bride who prioritizes Him above all else.
The Lord is holy and set apart. He is above all. His name is above all names. At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.
I hear the Lord saying, "Can you hear my heartbeat? Can you hear me calling? Do you desire to find me and meet with me? For I am desperate you to be desperate for me," says the Lord.
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning," says the Lord.
"I am your joy. Endure and reign with me. Sanctify yourselves and set me apart and dine with me. I desire intimacy and obedience. I desire your whole heart. Don’t be found on the outside looking in like the Israelites who I saved from bondage, but never entered the promised land."
“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."
Matthew 25:10-13
God is jealous for His Bride. And He will have her. He will have her whole heart. Unfortunately, some, will not be the Brides they thought they were. Instead of preparing themselves, they slept and assumed they would be ready in time for their Bridegroom's arrival.
“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart."
Deuteronomy 6:5-6
Please pray with me that the Body of Christ will be have our lamps full of oil! May we buy the oil by allowing the Lord to press us and refine us. We cannot live like the world. We cannot look like the world. We must be set apart. And the Lord must rule in our hearts.
God bless you,
