In light of some very prominent allegations and accusations, the Lord has shown me that we need to be careful not to join the chorus that is railing against them.
We should be cautious. Leave the process to the proper authorities. The Lord is the Chief Judge. Trust Him and no one else.
The court of public opinion is a nasty place. Let the Lord hold court. Let us not hold court for our own satisfaction. This is the work of Satan and it reeks of his personality.
“You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.”
Exodus 23:1
Be careful to guard your heart against offense and criticism. The Lord looks at the heart. Satan seeks to divide us and cause us to act like him. He wants us to curse one another and judge one another.
Remember mercy. We all need it and we all should be quick to release it. Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy!
Keep this verse in mind, because it shows how mercy is the heart of the Lord, and His desire is for us to overcome judgment through showing mercy to one another.
"For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment."
James 2:13
Again, we have all received mercy, so we should be humbled and desirous to give mercy away.
Don't believe everything you see or read. Seek the Lord!
Blessings,
Great word, thanks for the reminder of letting God be the judge.
