For more than a year, the Lord has been showing me an impending economic change. This will be a change that will impact families in a very drastic and stark manner. Perhaps that is why the Lord keeps prompting me to share this warning and encouragement.
I always want to make it clear, there is no reason to fear. We have faith in the Lord and we can trust Him. He is a good Father who cares deeply for His children. The Lord doesn't desire that we perish. In the same manner, He cares that we know what's coming so we can prepare. I believe this is why the Lord has been so committed to showing us the economy will be changing.
He doesn't want you to be surprised.
Dream: Hot Air Balloon Landing
I recently has a dream from the Lord that prompted me to share this prophetic message with you. What the Lord shared with me as I sought Him about this dream struck me as urgent. It also comes with a need for prayer and intercession. If you are a prayer warrior, this dream is cause for you to go before the Lord and ask for His mercy to be revealed in an uncommon way.
In this dream of the Lord, I saw dozens of vessels like hot air balloons dropping from the sky silently in the middle of the night.
They were quite colorful. And I said to a companion, "Do you see at I see?"
I went on to describe the colorful and fanciful appearance of the hot air balloons. They were each tinted a shade of pastel blue, green, or red. I knew in my spirit this was a strategy to make the vessels seem innocent, even fun, and entertaining, certainly nothing to worry about. So, why were they descending into a neighborhood in the middle of the night?
These were not your ordinary hot air balloons. Each of them was filled with people and I knew these people were in very elaborate disguises to make them appear human.
But these passengers were not at all human. These were unclean spirits. These were henchmen. They were all on assignment.
I was in my place as a watchman for the Lord. And what I saw caused great alarm.
As I continued to watch, what ended up being dozens of hot air balloons, each unloaded its passengers, all at once. These demonic spirits were flooding the streets.
This is when they changed form. Right before my eyes, and suddenly, almost in the blink of an eye, each of these dark spiritual beings changed into their true nature and appearance. What I saw was an army of black and red colored demons. They were sinister, sneaky, and they reminded me or a swarm of ladybugs.
I don't know if you've ever seen or experienced a ladybug infestation. That's what this was. In the natural sense, homes can be overrun with ladybugs, by the hundreds or thousands, as they sneak and slip into the house through very small openings between doors and mainly windows.
In the same way, the Lord was showing me the enemy was slipping in at night, with an army to overrun our economy. I can't explain it except to tell you what I experienced. The Spirit of God gave a knowing. These demons are on a mission to flood our cities and infiltrate society.
Their goal is to spread out and influence people, influence the nation. I got the distinct feeling this operation was happening simultaneously all over the nation.
America.
And I knew by the spirit that these spirits were influencing the economy, specifically. The Lord gave me this insight. The enemy is infiltrating our society with ideologies and ideas that will become commonplace and even seem reasonable. But they are Trojan horses geared toward driving our economy downward.
The Spirit of God impressed upon me that these beings are going to work in the unseen realm, in order to make things more expensive.
In fact, I heard this: "Their mission is to make things more expensive, and create higher interest rates." These beings want to create economic strain and upheaval in families' lives.
This is a demonic strategy. There are ideas that on the surface will look like they are good. These ideas are being infiltrated into the finance industry and the economy and into the minds and hearts of everyday people, so they will become dull to wisdom.
These financial and cultural ideologies, rooted in hell, are capable of creating an economic disaster. It's possible we could see a bubble burst. That is the plan of the enemy, to fill the economy with ideas and strategies that are nothing but “hot air.” Even though on the surface they will look viable and like fresh, new, and innocent ideas that are good for families, underneath there is a sinister spiritual plot to overtake our economy.
A Time For Prayer
We need to watch and pray.
As I sought the Lord, I heard, “there is a way that seems right to man” and I heard “destruction.” The enemy seeks to destroy our economic vitality. These are the verses of scripture where I was led.

"There is a way [that seems] right to a man, But its end [is] the way of death."
Proverbs 16:25
"Pride [goes] before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall."
Proverbs 16:18
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat."
Matthew 7:13
The Lord made me very aware about the repetition we see with Proverbs 14:12 and Proverbs 16:25, the exact same verse in two different places. I believe the Lord is emphasizing our capability to be quite blind in the spirit realm.
We must pray that people will not be deceived. Deception is the enemy's favorite strategy. Will you pray with me? Please pray that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened. Please pray that our eyes will be full of light! We need revelation and wisdom. We cannot afford to be lulled to sleep by our lusts for possessions and comfort.
I believe the Lord has given us the power and ability to thwart economic upheaval by prayer. I'm not confident we will avoid trouble, even disaster, but I believe if we pray, we will see a breakthrough, lessen the blow or duration of the economic trouble, or even reduce the negative impacts significantly.
Please seek the Lord for the American economy and the global economy. I'm very concerned that people can be very easily convinced and manipulated by some of the most influential and powerful global finance brokers, straight into an economic crises.
Again, we do not fear. But we seek to be awake and we seek the strength of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to protect us!
