I will begin by saying this: This dream is for intercession and prayer for repentance.
I believe the Lord is consistently showing us what we could be facing if we do not repent. This is a dream for people who believe in the mercy of God, who will fall on their knees and pray for His mercy to be revealed in our world. We need the Lord’s mercy.
I believe the Lord is seeking our dedication to prayer and intercession. Pray for the lost. Pray for the Church. Pray for the Lord to spare lives and save souls!
With that said, I’ve had two dreams from the Lord that show the release of demonic beasts in the land. I do not believe these dreams represents a certain coming attack. I believe they are a warning and an encouragement from the Lord to pray so we do not see these beasts unleashed in our land. God is always good, and He sees the best in us. We must seek the Lord to stay His hand on behalf of the righteous!
Through scripture we will examine what this dream means and what we should do!
But first, here is what I saw:
I was with a few people that I believe to be angels, and we were walking on an elevated, outdoor wooden boardwalk that allowed us to see the land below. I believe this represents a “higher view.” We were being enabled to see by the Spirit, see into the supernatural, a view from above, a heavenly view.
As we walked, I saw some Jeep-like vehicles prepared for off-road duty. I commented, “Oh, they have some safari Jeeps down there.”
I knew this meant someone was bringing some kind of attraction for tourists, some kind of entertainment.
Later, I saw some other equipment, a much larger SUV, and other safari-related gear. I knew some kind of major entertainment venue was coming to the area.
And then we saw a beast that I called a boar.
It began to chase a man down below who was working on this coming attraction. He was part of a team that was building it.
The beast ran him down and hit him in the back. While it didn’t seem to harm him much, he had been targeted and attacked.
WHAT WAS THIS BEAST?
This was the second of two dreams I had the same night. Both dreams featured beasts that arrived in the midst of an entertaining environment or entertainment venue.
In both cases, I believe the Lord is focusing on our culture. There is such an ever-increasing emphasis on fun and pleasure in our western world. I am concerned we have emphasized fun and entertainment so much, we have become dull, even in the Church, and lost our desire for the Lord, righteousness, and purity.
I believe these beasts I saw were demonic beings that were unleashed with the Lord’s permission to judge and correct, and bring people back to God, particularly in American culture. He wants our hearts. He is a jealous God!
Let’s take a look at this in scripture. In the book of Revelation, we learn the Lord authorizes the release of beasts to render judgment on earth.
1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.
3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Revelation 9:1-3
I believe something similar is on the Lord’s heart. I don’t believe we’ve seen the affliction yet. But I believe our society has fallen so far away from the Lord, He could very well choose this kind of severity to turn us back to Him!
So, let’s look at what scripture says about “boars.”
In scripture, boars are a tool of God’s judgment on a wicked nation, people, or land.
3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4 O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
Psalm 80:3-4, 13
From the passage we see at least five things about boars:
1. They are tools for God’s judgment
2. They are useful to instigate revival
3. They signify God’s anger with His people
4. They destroy and devour
5. They are part of God’s plan to save us!
WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THESE BEASTS?
So, what do we do?
How do we pray?
What is the wisdom of God embedded in this dream?
As I sought the Lord, I came to believe the Lord is again looking to bring us to repentance. It’s really simple. We need to humble ourselves before the Lord. Only He can save us. These beasts won’t be defeated by confronting them.
These beasts will be defeated as we confront ourselves.
The Lord promises beasts will be unleashed against a wicked people, in order to bring them to the end of themselves and back to Him.
21 ‘Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate.
Leviticus 26:21-22
He’s presenting us with an opportunity to seek the only source and solution, God Himself. The Lord promises us that He doesn’t desire to eliminate us, He simply wants us to repent fully and follow Him, the only Way to life!
Here’s how you can pray:
1. Pray for people to awaken to the reality of their sin.
2. Pray for revival in the Church toward radical purity
3. Pray for the mercy of God to spare lives
4. Pray for the Lord’s glory to be revealed and bring nations to their knees in adoration, worship, and holy submission.
1“If you will return, O Israel,” says the Lord,
“Return to Me;
And if you will put away your abominations out of My sight,
Then you shall not be moved.
2 And you shall swear, ‘The Lord lives,’
In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness;
The nations shall bless themselves in Him,
And in Him they shall glory.”
Jeremiah 4:1-2
We must believe God knows what He’s doing.
